Union Pier, Mich. - Our animal removal technician was at a client's home today doing seasonal mole work. The trained eyes of an American Animal Control technician will notice things that aren't even on most homeowner's radar.
This was the case when Mike noticed large gaps on the customer's roof ridge vent. Some of the gaps on the ridge were large enough to get both hands under, or close to two inches. This is easy entry for bats, mice, squirrels, stinging insects like wasps, flying squirrels and more.
Mike was able to secure the roof ridge from possible animal entry by installing 265' of Ridge-Guard™ to the ridge vent perimeter. This preventative step is a lot cheaper for the homeowner than a full attic remediation would be, once the space is contaminated with feces, possible HVAC damage, and insulation damage from feces and urine.
